Prathamesh Sonpatki works at last9.io, building tools for SREs. He is part of Ruby and Golang communities in India and a contributor to open source. He loves reading books and watching Cricket in his free time.

At Last9, We host industry experts in Observability and Reliability on our Community Discord.

If you are new to Discord, it may not be very clear how to get a calendar invite for the event, in this post, I will describe how to add the event to your calendar so you don't miss out on attending it :)

TLDR;

Download `https://sesh.fyi/api/calendar/v2/2fBaqKx9eUvXVq7aTAsTUR.ics` and import it to your calendar. You are all set!

Step 1: Find out the event you are interested in attending

Click on Event in the left sidebar

Click on the checkbox emoji.

You will get a message from the sesh bot which we use for event management and you can also set a reminder in Discord.

Step 3: Add the event to your calendar

Additionally, you can also add the event reminder in your Google calendar as follows.

Click on the three dots here.

Select the calendar option of your choice.

And you are all set! You can now get a notification from your favorite calendar when the event starts.

Step 4: Join the Stage on Event day

Join the Meetup stage at the time of the event.

That's all! See you at our next Discord Event.
